My Journal

Invitation Design and Basic Invite

My clients and their entire experience with me, from start to finish, is of utmost importance.  I like to help with any and all details that I can along the way, because, let's face it, wedding planning can be overwhelming and stressful.  But it doesn't have to be!  I have vendors that I love to recommend for hair and makeup, invitation suite design, cake and florals, DJs, jewelry, leather bags, pocket squares, and some amazingly unique favors.  Stay tuned for a future blog post on some of the amazing vendors I work with!

Now, I cannot do your makeup, bake your cake, or arrange your bouquets - YIKES!  I can, however, offer design for your wedding suite - save the dates, invitations, RSVPs, and more.  I have partnered with Basic Invite to offer a significant discount to my clients - up to 40% off!  Basic Invite to offer custom invitations for all of your needs.  Your colors, your style.  Instantly.  They are unique and breathtaking.  Elegant, classy, rustic, or sophisticated.  A style just for you.  This can be a significant savings for my clients.  Do the math.  250 guests.  Save the Dates, envelopes, stamps, invitations, RSVPs, envelopes, stamps.... Right?!

Here is an example of a suite for a bride and groom, Kristyn and Kyle, getting married at Vista of Maine Vineyard and Cidery in June.  Vista of Maine is a gorgeous barn venue located in Greene, Maine that overlooks Mount Washington (Hello gorgeous sunset)!  So when it came to designing their invitation, we went rustic.  Think lace, burlap, twine, barnyards, sunflowers, navy blue, yellow, lavender, and vintage glass.  Lavender, navy blue, and lavender and yellow will be center stage for their June wedding.

With Basic Invite you can go classic, casusal rustic, elegant, or a beautiful and unique combination!

Below are a few images from Kristyn and Kyle's wedding invitation suite.  Thank you Kristyn and Kyle, for letting me help with your invitation design.
